Before joining the firm, Christy was a junior and staff accountant for a non-profit organization for veterans’ health, where she oversaw all aspects of accounts payable. Her primary responsibilities included processing high volumes of invoices; responding to vendors; onboarding five clinical patient trial studies onto a payment processing system; coordinating with contracts, grants, and purchasing teams; and completing month-end and year-end closings.
Prior to her non-profit organization work, Christy was a math instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Center, where she guided students (grades K-12) with math and reading, created lesson plans, analyzed students’ development through homework and exams, and excelled at various administrative duties.
