Joseph Saveri Law Firm Expands to New Office Space

Leading San Francisco antitrust attorney Joseph R. Saveri has expanded and moved his office to San Francisco Financial District’s 505 Montgomery Street, Suite 625, San Francisco, CA 94111.

The Joseph Saveri Law Firm specializes in antitrust and intellectual property litigation, complex business disputes, and class actions.

With over 25 years of litigation experience, Saveri has built a name for himself in the fields of antitrust law, class actions, and complex litigation. He started his career doing general litigation work at the San Francisco law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen. In 1992, Saveri joined the plaintiffs’ firm Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein, where he founded and developed the firm’s highly regarded and successful antitrust and intellectual property practice. He also served as the firm’s Managing Partner and Chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Intellectual Property practice group. In 2012, his practice group was recognized as one of the top five practice groups in California. During those 20 years, Saveri handled numerous groundbreaking and landmark cases.

While at Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein, Saveri built a highly-respected antitrust department, leading his team in a number of high-profile antitrust lawsuits including: recent litigation against Apple, Google, Intel, Adobe Systems, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and other tech companies for illegally agreeing not to poach each other’s employees; the class action which generated over $400 million in settlements for direct purchasers in price-fixing claims against the cartel of TFT-LCD manufacturers; a class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers and others against Bayer for exclusionary drug pricing agreements involving the generic version of the drug Cipro; and another landmark class action against De Beers SA, the diamond company, for monopolizing the rough diamond trade. Saveri also served as lead counsel in other state and federal trials involving brand-name prescription drug price-fixing and the pharmaceutical industry.

Saveri continues to handle antitrust and other complex cases, while at the same time accommodating a wide range of clients including businesses, individuals, employees, public officials, CEOs, and corporate executives. “We are happy to take this opportunity to enhance our ability to provide the best quality legal representation, to expand our practice, and to handle more significant complex cases,” Saveri said.

The firm continues to lead groundbreaking cases including: the hightech employee anti-poaching case against tech leaders Apple, Adobe, Google, Intel, Pixar, Intuit, Lucasfilm, and others; the Cipro case pending in front of the California Supreme Court; and the antitrust price fixing case against titanium dioxide manufacturers DuPont, Huntsman, Millennium Inorganic Chemicals, and Kronos. Saveri is also involved in new class action suits involving the price-fixing of automotive parts and wire harnesses, another lawsuit involving the fixing of retail prices of online hotel reservations nationwide, as well as a class action lawsuit of direct purchasers against some of the world’s largest manufacturers of lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Saveri has also been retained to investigate additional new matters and potential cases.
