For the fourth consecutive year, the Joseph Saveri Law Firm and partner Joseph Saveri have received high-level rankings from Benchmark Litigation. Firm partner Ronnie S. Spiegel also received debut praise in this year’s evaluation.
The firm was recommended as one of the best in California in "dispute resolution" in the organization’s 2025 rankings. Joe was honored as a “National Practice Area Star” and “Litigation Star” in the “competition/antitrust” practice area. Ronnie likewise achieved the “Litigation Star” designation for “competition/antitrust.”
Earlier this year, for the first time, firm partners Christopher Young and David Seidel were named to Benchmark Litigation’s premier “40 & Under” list. In previous years, the firm was selected as one of the best in California for “competition/antitrust”: a category that was discontinued in last year’s edition. In 2022, the firm and Joe were shortlisted for Benchmark Litigation’s U.S. West Coast Awards in the “antitrust” and “antitrust litigator” categories.
Benchmark Litigation, based in the United Kingdom, New York City, and Hong Kong, researches and ranks law firms and lawyers based on transactional advice. Research is conducted through extensive interviews with litigators, dispute resolution specialists, and their clients to identify the leading litigators and firms. During these interviews, it examines recent casework handled by law firms and asks individual litigators to provide their professional opinions on peers and practitioners within their jurisdiction or practice area.
Each annual research process culminates in the publication of law firm rankings, individual lawyer ratings, and firm editorial content. Benchmark Litigation provides, where possible, detailed editorial analysis of key law firm activity, including important, recent case work, and analysis and client feedback on top litigators. It also delivers rankings for more specific litigation practice areas including:
- Antitrust
- Appellate
- Bankruptcy
- General Commercial
- Insurance
- Intellectual Property
- International Arbitration
- Product Liability
- Securities
