For the fourth consecutive year, Joseph Saveri received the “Band 1” ranking by Chambers USA in its “Nationwide, Antitrust: Plaintiff” and “California, Antitrust: Mostly Plaintiff” categories.
Law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from 1-6, with 1 being the best. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client. Individual lawyers are ranked (in their practice-area(s)) on the basis of their legal knowledge and experience, their ability, their effectiveness, and their client-service. Rankings are based upon independent research and investigation, including anonymous interviews, and reflect the judgment of legal peers. Those under consideration are judged by:
- Interviews with those active in the market—mainly clients (who can be law firms instructing other law firms) and other lawyers with whom they work, and
- Assessment of recent work done.
Chambers and Partners has published guides to the legal profession since 1990. With a team of over 170 full-time researchers at its London head office, it identifies and ranks the world’s best lawyers and law firms based on in-depth, objective research.
