On April 23, 2018, United States District Judge Judge Katherine Polk Failla for the Southern District of New York issued an Order approving class action settlement between Plaintiffs and Defendants Travelport Worldwide Limited and Travelport LP. The payment of litigation expenses was also approved. The Court certified an injunctive Settlement Class of all residents of the United States who purchase or purchased an airline passenger ticket from an airline between June 1, 2006 and the date Class Notice is issued pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. Proc. 23(e).

On August 16, 2018, Judge Failla issued an Order granting Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Approval of Proposed Settlement with Defendants Amadeus IT Group, S.A., Amadeus North America, Inc., and Amadeus Americas, Inc. The proposed settlement included immediate and conditional injunctive relief. On November 27, 2018, the Court ordered final settlement approval and also awarded Class Counsel $3,000,000 in attorneys’ fees and reasonable expenses incurred in prosecuting the case.
